Ripple

Ripple is a digital platform helping artists and creators reach new audiences organically by connecting music with content creators whose work, style and communities align.
Founded by critically aclaimed musician Jacob Banks, Ripple brings together his experience as an artist, his understanding of the creator and podcast landscape, and his success within music synchronisation across television and film. Having seen the challenges artists face when trying to market their work independently, Jacob identified an opportunity to create a platform that could connect both sides of the creative economy more effectively.
Having worked with Jacob across several music projects, we were brought in from the beginning to help turn that idea into a brand, product and digital platform.

The opportunity
The way music is discovered has changed. Social platforms and independent creators now play a central role in helping songs reach new audiences, but connecting the right music with the right content is often fragmented, inconsistent and difficult to scale.
For independent artists in particular, reaching those audiences can be challenging. Major labels have established marketing teams, industry relationships and the resources to build large-scale campaigns. Independent artists are often expected to create, release and promote their music without the same infrastructure behind them.
At the same time, content creators are constantly looking for music that complements their work and feels relevant to their audience.
Ripple was created to bridge that gap: helping artists extend their reach through genuine creator partnerships, while giving content creators access to music aligned with the content they already produce.
As a completely new business, Ripple needed more than an identity. It required a clear proposition, a credible position within both the music and creator industries, and a digital product that could communicate how the platform worked to artists, creators and potential partners.
What we did
We worked with Ripple from the earliest stages of the business, beginning with the name and developing the brand strategy, positioning, messaging and visual identity around it.
The name Ripple captured the effect the platform was designed to create. One artist, track or creator partnership could begin with a single moment before travelling further, reaching new communities and generating momentum organically.
That thinking informed the central brand idea: By artists. For artists. Amplified.
The positioning places Ripple firmly on the side of the artist. It communicates that the platform has been shaped by direct experience of the music industry, while reflecting its broader purpose: giving artists—particularly those working independently—the tools and connections to reach further without relying on the scale of a major-label marketing team.
The word amplified carries a deliberate double meaning. It speaks to sound and music, but also to reach, visibility and cultural impact.
We designed the identity to feel constantly in motion. The logo marque takes the form of a soundwave, creating a clear link to music while also suggesting energy travelling outwards. Gradients and noise textures add depth and movement throughout the system, giving the brand a modern, digital-first character.
Transparency was another important part of the visual language. Glass-like and opaque graphics appear throughout the identity and product, reflecting Ripple’s ambition to give artists greater visibility and control over how their campaigns are run and where their music is being used.
Alongside the brand, we designed and built Ripple’s website, translating the proposition into a clear experience for artists and creators. We also worked across the product itself, designing the dashboard and campaign builder that allow artists to create, manage and follow their promotional activity.
The wider platform included campaign emails and interactive creator effects across TikTok and Meta, helping artists and creators carry a consistent campaign idea through multiple channels. Together, these elements created a connected system spanning brand, marketing and product rather than treating each as a separate experience.
The outcome
Ripple is still in the early stages of its journey, but the platform is already working with artists and supporting independent music campaigns.
Through its creator network and campaign tools, Ripple has helped artists reach audiences numbering in the millions through social views, demonstrating the potential of matching music with creators in a more organic and relevant way.
Jacob has also used the platform across his own music, giving Ripple a direct connection to the realities of releasing and promoting work as an artist.
The result is a brand and product built from genuine industry experience: an artist-led platform designed to give independent talent more power, greater visibility and the opportunity to amplify their music without needing the infrastructure of a major label.
